Diaper Need in the News

The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank and Diaper Need Awareness Week was recently featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and KMOV Channel 4.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch story, "Growing diaper bank ramps up to help St. Louis area babies, toddlers" explored what receiving diapers can mean to some of the people served by our partners. It also went into the details of Diaper Need Awareness Week, including our upcoming Fill the Truck and Bottoms Up for Babies events.

Plus KMOV did a great story on the diaper bank and our upcoming events. They interviewed our director, Jessica Adams, who shared that "a person earning minimum wage can spend up to 15% of her income on diapers," and how anyone can help meet this important need.

We really appreciate that people are interested in learning more about what we're doing to end diaper need in St. Louis. This helps us connect with new people and spread the word about the significant economic, social, and health impacts of diaper need in our community, and gets us talking about what we can do to make a difference.
